Mamaco's participation in Bazaar Activities, Cooking Competitions and Fishery Product Bazaars with the East Java Province Maritime and Fisheries Service
Surabaya, 11 September 2023 - In order to advance the fishing industry and activate small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in this field, the East Java Province Maritime and Fisheries Service is holding various activities involving business actors and SMEs from Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik. Some of the events held are:fishery products bazaar,Cooking demonstration events and cooking classes and cooking competitions. This event took place lively at the East Java Province DKP yard on Thursday, September 7 2023, starting at 07:00 WIB until finished.
Variety of Local Fishery Products
In the fishery product bazaar that was held, various typical East Java food products also enlivened this exhibition. There is quality fresh fish, a variety of frozen products (Frozen Food), and various light snacks, all of which are the work of SMEs under the guidance of the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service. The diversity of fishery products is the main attraction of the bazaar event.
Cooking Class and Cooking Demo Attract Visitors
Apart from product exhibitions, this event also holds cooking classes and cooking demonstrations which attract the interest of visitors. Experienced chefs such as Kang Warto from Kitchen of Indonesia and Chef Irwan from other sponsored products provide direct guidance in cooking delicious dishes. Not only that, this event also distributed 300 containers of Tom Yum for free to visitors, creating an unforgettable culinary experience.
Mamaco Contributes to Cooking Competition
In the cooking competition which was one of the highlights of the event, Mamaco participated by providing support in the form of Mamaco coconut oil to the participants. Contestants were asked to create two delicious menus, namely "Crab Stick Tofu Soup" and "Mackerel with Padang Sauce." Strict judging was carried out by representatives of the Chair of the East Java DWP DKP, Chef Irwan, and Kang Warto, who ensured the quality and creativity of the participants' dishes.
Announcement of Winners and Presentation of Prizes
After the cooking competition process was completed, this event then culminated with the announcement of the highly anticipated winner of the Cooking Class competition. The winners also received impressive prizes, which were an appreciation for their creativity and cooking abilities.
