As a form of concern for the health of the nation's next generation, Mamaco together with PT Sari Mas Permai held Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in the form of dental and oral health education for children at Ma'arif NU Baitussalam Kindergarten, Surabaya. This program aims to increase awareness of the importance of maintaining oral hygiene from an early age, through interactive outreach with dentists, teachers and student parents.
Teaching Healthy Habits from an Early Age
Dental and oral health plays an important role in children's growth and development. Unfortunately, there are still many children who do not understand how to brush their teeth properly or the importance of maintaining oral hygiene every day. Mamaco and PT Sari Mas Permai see this as an opportunity to instill positive habits from an early age, so that children can avoid problems such as cavities and gingivitis in the future.
Series of Educational and Fun Activities
Located at TK Ma'arif NU Baitussalam, Jl. Raya Mastrip, Warugunung, District. Karangpilang, Surabaya, this CSR activity is filled with various interesting agendas involving children, teachers and parents. Following is the series of events:
1. Dental Health Education by Dentists
A dentist provides an explanation about the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and mouth, as well as the correct technique for brushing teeth. The presentation is carried out in a way that is fun and easy for children to understand, using illustrations and attractive visual media.
2. Interactive Q&A session
After the educational session, children and their guardians are given the opportunity to ask questions directly to the dentist. Questions about children's dental care, healthy eating habits, and solutions to everyday dental problems are discussed in a straightforward and friendly manner.
3. Distribution of Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
As a form of real support, Mamaco and PT Sari Mas Permai distributed toothbrush and toothpaste packages to all participants. This initiative aims to enable children to immediately practice good habits at home with the right equipment.
4. Practice Brushing Teeth Together
The peak session of the activity is the practice of brushing teeth together guided by the dentist. The children looked enthusiastic when they were invited to practice how to brush their teeth properly, creating an educational atmosphere full of fun.
